When researching other horror films we found that most were 15 or 18 rated. We felt our film would be rated a 18 as it contains graphic scenes of killings and violence. Also throughout the film strong language is used and itcontains issues and storylines that viewers may find offensive.
In the opening of our film we present a death to the audience however it is not graphic but later in the film to keep the audience engaged we feel more graphic scenes of horror and killings are necessary.
We feel that people watch horror films for the sheer gripping exprience of feeling scared and tense. As theese are the main aims for horror we feel our opening offers a good range of tense moments, gripping sound and a killing.
